Haruka Kiyomine (清峰 葉流火, Kiyomine Haruka) is a main character in Boukyaku Battery. He is a first year genius pitcher and battery duo with Kei Kaname[1].

Haruka is a tall young man with short dark blue hair and dark blue eyes.
Overview[]
Haruka is a baseball genius who is described as "perfect". He is a hard-armed pitcher who can throw a 150km/h fastball and can also pitch a slider with a strong break the moment it reaches the batter and has the same form and speed as his fastball 150km/h making it indistinguishable he can also pitch slow curve ball and adjust his pitch speed with his good ball control and also has a high batting sense. His communication skills are bad. He is loyal to his friend Kei Kaname and has no interest in other people and cannot remember the face or the name of those who he beats.
Etymology[]
- The name Haruka means "leaf, plane, lobe, needle, blade, spear, counter for flat things, fragment, piece" (葉) (ha), "flow, style, manner, method" (流) (ru) and "fire/flame, light/blaze" (火) (ka).
- Haruka's surname Kiyomine means "clear, pure, clean" (清) (kiyo) and "peak, ridge" (峰) (mine).
